Before filling up the application form for UPTET 2022, an applicant must know the eligibility criteria as mentioned in UPTET 2022 Notification:

Nationality: 

• An applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Applicants belong to Nepal/ Bhutan /Tibet are also eligible to apply UPTET 2022.

Academic Qualification for Primary Level -Class 1 to 5th: 

Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks + 2 years Diploma in Education (D.Ed)
OR
Bachelor’s degree + 2 years BTC/CT (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)
OR
Bachelor’s degree + Special BTC. Training
OR
Bachelor’s degree + 2 years BCT Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh
OR
Bachelor’s degree + Diploma in Teaching (For Urdu Teacher)

Academic Qualification for Upper Primary level- Class 6 to 8th: 

Bachelor’s degree + BTC
OR
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed/B.Ed Special Education
OR
12^th Passed with minimum of 50% marks + 4-year B.A/B.S.C.Ed/B.A.Ed
OR
12^th Passed with minimum of 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed in Primary Education

Bachelor’s degree with minimum 45% marks + B.Ed
